Sudoku · Devoir Apps
This Privacy Policy describes how Sudoku (“the App”), published by Devoir Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you use our Android application.
Sudoku is designed to work offline. We do not operate user accounts, advertising networks, or analytics services. We do not sell personal data.
The App stores the following data locally using on-device storage (for example, Hive and SharedPreferences):
This data never leaves your device through our servers because we do not operate any servers that receive App data.
If you have Android backup enabled on your device, your App data may be included in backups managed by Google and tied to your Google Account. This is controlled by your device and Google account settings, not by us. We do not access those backups directly.
The App may request the following Android permissions for optional features:
All permissions are used solely to provide App functionality. None are used to collect personal data for us.
If you use the share feature to export a puzzle, the App passes content to Android’s system share sheet. You choose which app or contact receives it. We do not see or control what you share or with whom.
The App includes open-source libraries and on-device components (for example, Flutter, ML Kit for on-device QR scanning, and Google Fonts for typography). These components operate on your device to provide App functionality.
On first launch, the App may download a display font from Google Fonts if it is not already cached on your device. That request goes to Google’s font service, not to us. We do not receive information from that download.
We do not integrate third-party advertising, crash reporting, or analytics SDKs that collect personal data on our behalf.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no personal data is collected by us, no parental consent process is required for data collection by us.
Data remains on your device until you clear App storage, uninstall the App, or reset your device. You can delete local data at any time through Android Settings → Apps → Sudoku → Storage → Clear data.
The App is available worldwide. Because data is stored locally on your device and not transmitted to us, no cross-border transfer of your data to our servers occurs.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
